National Lutheran Schools Week - January 27-February 2

Next week we celebrate our school during National Lutheran Schools Week. Please note the following special events:

Sunday - Students sing "You Are My All in All" during Atonement's 10:30 worship service

Monday - PJ Day: Students can wear PJs to school. Slippers are okay for in the classroom, but please bring appropriate shoes for recess and P.E. time.

Tuesday - Music Day: Students need to bring in a sample of their favorite song or kind of music (this is part of our Music Appreciation class). Music can be on a CD, flash drive, MP3 player, etc. And if necessary, I can download a song from iTunes - just provide title and artist. Students can also wear a music-related shirt as long as it's appropriate for our school. Use your discretion.

Wednesday - School Spirit Day: Students need to wear their purple, gold, and white school colors. We will be taking a new all-school photo this day, so dress in your Atonement best!

Thursday - Sports Day: Students can wear clothes associated with a favorite team or sport. Again, use your discretion as some uniforms may not be appropriate school attire.

Thursday - Science Fair: Come visit our Science Fair in the Fellowship Hall in the church building from 3-4:15. We will have a display about our mealworm investigation in Science.

Friday - Hat Day: Students can wear a hat to school and in the classroom all day. Hats will need to be removed for Chapel.
