Noah's Days

Today and tomorrow are "Noah's Days" in the Preschool and Kindergarten. Every year the little ones dress up in their animal costumes. After Chapel, they have a parade on their way back to class so we can see them. So cute!

Field Trip to The Musical Instrument Museum

On Monday, we visited The MIM. We were led by two docents on the "Musical Instruments and Art of Asia" tour. We looked at instruments from several Asian countries and learned about how and why they incorporated animals into the craftsmanship of the instruments. After the tour, the students participated in a drum circle and got to play a variety of instruments in the Experience Gallery. I encourage you to go back with your family sometime - it is an amazing museum with so much to see and do.

Special thanks to Megan's mom and Sydney's mom for driving for us and to Mr. Hutchison who came to our rescue at the last minute so we could go on the field trip.

Trunk 'r Treat!

Tonight is Trunk 'r Treat at Atonement. The fun starts at 5:30. There will be food, games, and trunk 'r treating as well as "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown."
