Field Trip to The Musical Instrument Museum
On Monday, we visited The MIM. We were led by two docents on the "Musical Instruments and Art of Asia" tour. We looked at instruments from several Asian countries and learned about how and why they incorporated animals into the craftsmanship of the instruments. After the tour, the students participated in a drum circle and got to play a variety of instruments in the Experience Gallery. I encourage you to go back with your family sometime - it is an amazing museum with so much to see and do.
